SoundCafe
SoundCafe enables vulnerable and socially excluded people living in the area of Leicester to take part in creative activities such as singing, poetry, crafts or painting in a safe and listening place. Sessions are currently only organised on Wednesday afternoon forty-two weeks a year partly because of financial limitations. The VINCI’s grant will cover the costs of room hiring for additional sessions and help the charity improve its website.
Funding provided by the Foundation: £4,250.
VINCI Sponsor: Joanne Plews, Eurovia, will help with the website and with any financial accounting support.
