PIPS Charity
PIPS Charity is dedicated to raising awareness of suicide and offering help to both those in crisis and families who have suffered the loss of a loved one through suicide. The charity recently launched the HOPE training programme which will be delivered by young people from the Prince’s Trust and PIPS training team to their peers in school or youth clubs to educate them on the early signs of suicide and to increase their understanding of depression. The VINCI’s grant will help the charity increase the number of HOPE training sessions each month for a year.
Funding provided by the Foundation: £7,200.
VINCI Sponsor: Aoibhinn McCarthy and Hannah Crossey, Omexom, will help promote the training sessions online.
