Lotus Brook is a non-for-profit social enterprise aiming at creating accessible and sustainable community gardens and educating people on food growing. The new project of the company consists of converting a shipping container into an indoor LED farm. The LED farm will train a group of disadvantages young people in growing micro-vegetables, marketing and selling them to local cafes and restaurants. The VINCI’s grant will be use to purchase the container and equipment for the farm.

Funding provided by the Foundation: £4,800.
