Friends of the French Institute

Friends of the French Institute has been awarded £3,900 by the VINCI UK Foundation to developing the Institute’s cultural and educational offer.

 The Foundation is supported by VINCI Construction Grands Projets British Isles, part of the VINCI Energies group; the Grands Projets Sponsor will volunteer through his participation in events involving the French Chamber of Commerce in Great-Britain and the Institute Français.

 Friends of the French Institute requested support from the VINCI UK Foundation to support the newest project, called Projet Lumière(s). Clarence Michel, a senior Marketing & Communication Manager, will act as the charity’s project Sponsor and will be involved in the organisation of our children oriented events and activities.

Friends of the French Institute promotes French language and culture in the United Kingdom, encourage cultural exchanges, and offer a large programme of cultural and educational activities both for children and adults.

The VINCI UK Foundation, funded by VINCI businesses across the UK, supports groups and charities which work to tackle exclusion, foster community integration and improve access to employment and housing. Launched in early 2016, the Foundation is unique in its support for good causes due to its specific focus and provision of skilled volunteers.

 Through the Foundation, all VINCI’s employees, from apprentices to senior management, can use their experience and skills to benefit their local communities.
