Creekside Education Trust
Creekside Education Trust
Creekside Education Trust has been awarded £12,590 by the VINCI UK Foundation to support the programme of outdoor activities to further social cohesion and reduce isolation amongst families and adults.
The Foundation is supported by VINCI Construction Grands Projets British Isles, part of the VINCI Energies group; the Grands Projets Sponsors will volunteer through their participation in advising the charity.
Creekside Education Trust requested support from the VINCI UK Foundation to support their programme, Urban Wildlife Adventures. The Centre delivers educational sessions (science, history, geography) for thousands of local children. Families, community groups, and pre-school groups also participate in recreational activities.
Barbara Lantz and Thomas Gimenez, both GREPS Site Agents, will act as the charity’s project Sponsors and will help in terms of advice with tendering process and selecting/working with subcontractors and helping CET with helpful processes to be put in place relating to this.
The VINCI UK Foundation, funded by VINCI businesses across the UK, supports groups and charities which work to tackle exclusion, foster community integration and improve access to employment and housing. Launched in early 2016, the Foundation is unique in its support for good causes due to its specific focus and provision of skilled volunteers.
Through the Foundation, all VINCI’s employees, from apprentices to senior management, can use their experience and skills to benefit their local communities.
