Blind in Business

25 November 2020 by Ruth Ottley

The VINCI UK Foundation has awarded Blind in Business £5,353 to new technological equipment. The targeted access technology has various features to allow blind people to access information on a computer.

The Blind in Business is a charity that provides specialist training and employment advice. They try to remove the barriers and challenges that blind and partially sighted people face getting into work. They do this by helping clients update their CV, by giving the practise interview and making them aware of what routes into employment might be suitable for them. The organisation works mainly with blind graduates under the age of 30, but also with parents and carers of all ages, teachers and education professionals working with visually impaired students in education.
