People First provides statutory and non-statutory advocacy services to vulnerable, isolated and disempowered individual living in the area of Cumbria. It aims at empowering individuals and enabling them to express their needs and choices. With the help of the VINCI UK Foundation, the organisation will give a new lease to an abandoned city library, providing a conference centre to the local community and a place where people with learning disabilities could be trained and recruited.

Funding provided by the Foundation: £10,000.
